    3 is a 2012 Tamil romantic drama film directed by Aishwarya Dhanush who made her directorial debut with the film. It stars Dhanush, who himself co-produced the film, alongside Shruti Haasan.[1][2] Soundtrack and background score was composed by debutante music director Anirudh Ravichander while the cinematography was handled by Velraj. Much hype was created about the movie due to the viral marketing of the song "Why This Kolaveri Di". The film released on 30 March 2012 in its original Tamil version along with a dubbed version in Telugu, to positive to mixed reviews and was an average grosser at the box office.[3] The film takes on a journey through the love story of Ram (Dhanush) and Janani (Shruti Haasan) who are 12th grade students and eventually fall in love with each other. As they grow up, so does their affinity for each other, and despite opposition from the elders, they tie the knot. When they start a fresh life, problems start to grow up. Apart from the usual misunderstanding difficulties that newly-married couples would face, this is of a different kind. Ram is forced to take a decision in that problematic situation.

Initially the people in China treated him as an inferior but later when he cures a little girl from the deadly disease and fights against some people who ill treated villagers there, the people of China began to respect and worship him. He begins to teach them how to cure many diseases, the skills of hypnotism and the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. However after several years, when he expresses his desire to return to India, the villagers plot to poison him and bury him near the temple, believing that their place would be disease free if he is buried there. Bodhidharma agrees to die and subsequently becomes a fundamental figure in Chinese history, affectionately being dubbed as "Damo". ...

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (English: One Stone, One Mirror) is an Indian Tamil comedy film written and directed by M. Rajesh.[1] It stars producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, in his acting debut, Hansika Motwani and Santhanam, whilst featuring Harris Jayaraj's music and Balasubramaniem's cinematography.[2] The film was named after a song from the film Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009). Releasing on 13 April 2012, it opened to positive reviews and became a commercial success


Plot

The story begins with Saravanan (Udhayanidhi Stalin) receiving his ex-girlfriend Meera’s (Hansika) wedding card. In order to stop the marriage,he sets out to Pondicherry along with his close buddy Parthasarathy aka Partha (Santhanam) in a janavasa car. As they embark on the journey, a flashback opens up. Saravanan, a happy-go-lucky youth, and Partha work for a cinema theathre in the city. Saravanan meets Meera at a traffic signal and falls for her beauty instantly. He follows her and finds out that she is an aspiring airhostess and her father is a deputy commissioner of police (Sayaji Shinde). Despite spending time with him and showing interest in him, Meera rejects Saravanan due to certain circumstances. The flashback ends there and then the comical episodes of Saravanan and Partha begin. With Partha's help, Saravanan tries to impress Meera before the wedding. Whether Meera accepts Saravanan forms the rest of the story.

Synopsis

Mahadevan (Nassar), a middle-aged government employee who leads a very normal family life with his wife, a son and his father who is also living with him. He lives a budget life, rides an old scooter, wears out-of-fashion clothes and bears a sullen expression on his face for all the reasons above. He is unhappy with his present life which is monotonous and feels that he should lives a modernized life which he has missed in his earlier life.
In this day and age, with westernization overpowering everything else, he's constantly reminded of a flame that died out long ago and it questions the purpose of his existence. Meanwhile, Aravind (Sathya)who comes from America lives a very modern life. He works in a software company in Chennai. Mahadevan happens to meet Aravind and comes to know that he is his nephew, both of them becomes very close.
Aravind helps Mahadevan to enjoy the modern life, which causes Mahadevan’s family suffered greatly with his activities. However, Aravind turns a new lease of life when he falls for Priya(Anjali), he changed his poor characters for his love. He comes to understand the real life and feels that he would only spoil his uncle’s life. How he helps his uncle through this midlife crisis forms the rest of the story.
